A.B. Modi LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a private, owner-operated messaging service used to conduct one-to-one conversational communication by SMS with people we already correspond with. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

This policy also covers our website, abmodi.ai, including its contact form and newsletter. The sections on SMS messaging apply only to the messaging service; the sections headed “Website” apply only to the website.

Information We Collect

• Contact information you provide to us directly, such as your name and mobile phone number.
• Message content and metadata for the SMS messages we exchange with you (the text of messages, timestamps, and delivery status).

We do not purchase contact lists and we do not collect information from you through this service by any means other than your direct interaction with us.

SMS / Text Messaging Consent

By providing your mobile number to us and agreeing to communicate by text, you consent to receive SMS messages from A.B. Modi LLC at the number you provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and you can reply HELP for assistance.

How We Share Information

We share your information only with the service providers that operate our messaging on our behalf (for example, our telecommunications provider Twilio, which transmits SMS messages), and only to the extent necessary to deliver those messages. We do not sell your information, and we do not share text-messaging opt-in data or consent with any third parties.

Data Retention

We retain message content and contact information only as long as necessary for the conversational purposes described above or as required by law, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

Security

Our service runs on the owner’s own device with access controls in place. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

You may stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP. To ask a question or request that we delete your information, contact us using the details below.

• Contact form: your name, email address, and the message you send us.
• Newsletter: your email address, the date you subscribed, and your confirmation of the subscription.
• Analytics (only if you accept): aggregated, anonymous visit statistics collected by Cloudflare Web Analytics, such as pages viewed, referring site, and country. This service does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.
• Technical data: our hosting provider processes your IP address and browser information to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Website: How and Why We Use It

• To reply to your inquiry (legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering messages).
• To send the newsletter you asked for (legal basis: your consent, confirmed by clicking the link in our confirmation email). Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
• To understand how the site is used (legal basis: your consent via the privacy banner).
• To operate and secure the site (legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure website).

We do not sell your personal data, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions about you.

Website: Cookies and Similar Technologies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We store your privacy choice in your browser’s local storage so we don’t ask again on every page. Analytics load only if you select “Accept analytics.” You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the site footer. Our fonts are hosted on our own site, so no data is sent to Google Fonts.

We use the following providers to run the website. They process data only on our instructions:

• Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, security, and privacy-friendly analytics)
• Resend (sending contact-form notifications and newsletter emails, and storing newsletter subscribers)
• Google Workspace (our business email, where contact-form messages are received)

These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where data from the EU, EEA, UK, or Switzerland is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Website: Data Retention

We keep contact-form messages for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any resulting relationship. We keep newsletter subscriber data until you unsubscribe; unconfirmed sign-ups are not sent any newsletters. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU and UK GDPR and U.S. state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out.
